Sydney Royal Goat Show

The Sydney Royal Goat Show is the largest and most prestigious Goat Show in Australia, held in our world class venue, the Paddington Pavilion.  The first Goat competition was held in 1869 and now we receive nearly 1000 entries annually.  Goats are split into three groups Dairy, Angora & Boer with 42 Dairy classes, 33 Angora classes and 28 Boer classes.

Our Boer competition is growing as the number of Boer Goats in Australia increase. Boer goats are used for meat production and Australia now producers over 50% of the World’s Goat Meat supply.

Congratulations to everyone who won and participated at the 2012 Sydney Royal Goat Show.

Sydney Royal Easter Show dates for the 2013 Show - 21 March 2013 - 3 April 2013.
